2025 Registration Is Open!

Special K 5K Stroller Roll

START: Brorein St. & Franklin St.
The Special K 5K Stroller Roll will be open exclusively to 5K walkers of all ages and those runners and walkers wishing to participate while pushing a baby jogger or baby stroller. The Gasparilla Distance Classic Association encourages Healthy Living for the entire family and invites families and parents with little ones to come out, run, or walk and enjoy an event created especially for them.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A RACE, AND THOUGH EACH PARTICIPANT WILL BE TIMED, IT SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED AS A COMPETITIVE EVENT. RACING WITH BABY JOGGERS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED. FOR THE SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT OF ALL, ESPECIALLY THE CHILDREN, PLEASE DO NOT ENTER THE 5K WALK & STROLLER ROLL WITH THE INTENT OF ANYTHING OTHER THAN A RELAXING 3.1 MILE WALK OR JOG.

Special K 5K Stroller Roll Kids (4 yrs & Under) **

** PLEASE NOTE: EVERY ADULT AND/OR CHILD MUST BE REGISTERED FOR THE 2025 5K SPECIAL K STROLLER ROLL AND WEARING A 2025  5K SPECIAL K STROLLER ROLL RACE NUMBER TO PARTICIPATE IN THE  5K SPECIAL K STROLLER ROLL. PLEASE BE AWARE THAT BABY JOGGERS AND/OR STROLLERS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN THE 15K, HALF MARATHON, OR 8K.

Kashi 5K Walk (51-min. & Over)

The Kashi 5K Walk was created specifically for those who want to participate in the 2025 Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic Race Weekend Events but in a relaxed and non-competitive environment.

Entry Fees

PLEASE NOTE: If you intend to run the 15K & 5K AND participate in the Special K 5K Stroller Roll or Kashi 5K Walk on Saturday, February 22, 2025, you must register and complete an Entry Form for each event.

When running the 15K, you MUST wear your assigned 15K Race Number ONLY.  DO NOT wear or carry your 5K Race Number(s).  Before starting the 5K Run, you must remove your 15K Race Number and replace it with your 5K Race Number.

If applicable, before you start the Special K 5K Stroller Roll or Kashi 5K Walk, you must remove your 5K Run Race Number and replace it with your assigned Special K 5K Stroller Roll Race Number or Kashi 5K Walk Race.

Because of the sensitivity of the Chrono Track Timing Device, wearing or carrying your 5K Race Number during the 15K OR wearing or carrying your 15K Race Number during the 5K could impact your overall Race Results.

Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic 5K participants will receive an Official 2025 Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic 5K Gender-Specific Performance Wicking Race Shirt**, a 2025 PGDC ‘Goody Goody’ Virtual Race Bag, a 2025 PGDC Branded Rooms to Go Reusable Shopping Bag, and for those that cross the Finish Line, a 2025 Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic 5K Finisher’s Medal, Post-Race Food & Beverages, a complimentary 12-ounce Michelob Ultra (21-yrs & Over) and a personalized PGDC 5K Virtual Finisher’s Certificate (a valid email address MUST be provided with registration).

**Publix Gasparilla Distance Classic 5K participants that register online after January 10, 2025, or wait to register during Race Weekend Late Registration (if available) will receive a Race Shirt but will not be guaranteed a gender-specific performance wicking shirt and/or the correct sized shirt.

Celebrate your perseverance and pride with the help of Finish Line Engravers by personalizing your 2025 PGDC Finisher Medal (including multiple events and Challenges) with your name and net finish time. After you complete your race(s), simply bring your medal(s) to Finish Line Engravers Booth at the Runner Revive Area on the Platt Street Bridge and they will engrave it on the spot! When making your purchase, please designate the number you wish to engrave.

The FinisherPix Photo Pack includes ALL photos we identify of you in all digital formats (Basic digital image, Digital images with Finish Time, Digital images in certificate format.)
