2019 GasparWeen 10K,

A New Virtual Pirate/Halloween Themed
Virtual Running Experience
Presented By The Gasparilla Distance Classic Association!

ARRRGH…What’s a Virtual Race?

Virtual races are just like traditional races with a shirt, medal, and bib, but you can run, jog or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race).

You can run, walk or wheel your own race and, at your own pace, whenever and wherever you want …

YOUR COURSE, YOUR START TIME, YOUR RACE!

Though not required, registered participants in the 2019 GasparWeen 10K, are encouraged to complete their 10K  in the weeks leading up to Halloween…October 17 – October 31, 2019.

2019 GasparWeen 10K Charitable Contribution

2019 GasparWeen 10K Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Virtual Run?

A Virtual Run is a fun run opportunity that can take place at any location…anytime.  You can walk, run, use a treadmill, or if convenient and available in your community, participate in another running event…anywhere…it’s totally up to you!

When is the virtual 2019 GasparWeen 10K?

Registered participants in the 2019 GasparWeen 10K, a pirate and Halloween Themed virtual run/walk opportunity are encouraged to complete their 10K during the weeks leading up to Halloween: between October 19 – October 31, 2019.

Do I have to run?

No.  The virtual 2019 GasparWeen 10K welcomes runners, joggers, wheelers, shufflers and walkers.

Do I have to run an entire 10K (6.2 miles) at one time?

Most participants will choose to complete their 10K all at once, but we understand that not everyone is able to complete the distance in one outing. The virtual 2019 GasparWeen 10K is less about hard rules and more about providing motivation to help with your personal goal setting and for some, taking that first step.

So, set your goal – whatever that may be – and go out and accomplish it!  If that means you need to break up your 10K into multiple segments, so be it. No worries!

Do I have to post my results in order to receive the 2019 GasparWeen 10K Finisher’s Medal?

No.  With the virtual 2019 GasparWeen 10K, results posting isn’t required.  After completing the 10K distance, you’re welcome to share a pic and/or a simple I Did It!, All Done!, I Just Ran For The BOOty!

Beginning in late September 2019, GasparWeen 10K Finisher’s Medals, 2019 GasparWeen 10K shirts and 2019 GasparWeen 10K personalized Race Bibs (if registered by September 15, 2019) will be mailed to all registered participants.

I live outside of the United States.  Can I register and do you ship overseas?

Absolutely!  Shipping within the US is included in the 2019 GasparWeen 10K Entry Fee.  An additional $5 Shipping Fee will be assessed for those that live outside of the US.  As overseas delivery will take a bit longer, we can’t guarantee delivery by October 17, 2019.
